In Maui, however, you’ll experience more than five and they all vary depending on the major physiographic features of the island and the location of a particular region, whether it’s on the windward or the leeward side of the island.

Maui is very accessible as there are many international airlines offering direct flights into this part of Hawaii. To get there, you can fly to Kahului Airport, which is the island’s main airport. There are also two smaller commuter airports on the island namely Kapalua Airport in West Maui and Hana Airport in East Maui. If you want, you can also fly into Honolulu International Airport on Oahu and then take a 30-minute flight into the island.
